I am delighted at my appointment as a Home Manager at Southborough Nursing Home. I’ve been within the care industry for 12 years, in which I have managed a nursing home with nursing and Dementia care. I did my nursing in India and completed my BSC Hons in Nursing from Surrey University at Guilford. I enjoy my role as a Home Manager and enjoy the fact that I am able to influence a difference to enhance the lives of the individuals who we are privileged to care for. I am always available and happy to help with the smooth running of all the departments at Southborough Nursing Home. I am looking forward to getting to know you all and meeting you in the near future.
On a personal level, I am married and have two wonderful girls named Manit and Seerat. I enjoy spending time with my family and my two daughters.
I am happy in my role as Lifestyles Lead. The best part is that I love interacting with the residents – adding some positive energy and joy to their day is a gratifying experience. We enjoy music, movement and do fun activities together. Seeing them smile and being part of moments where they share a lovely thought or reminisce about their lives has been wonderful and makes me think of the words “Love what you do, and you never work a day in your life”.
My role also involves making special occasions memorable and fun for the residents, and this is not possible without the support of the wonderful team here at Southborough Nursing Home, which is what makes this a great place to work – everyone cares!
I am an organised, confident and highly motivated chef with 16 years’ experience in the catering industry. I approach my work in a highly versatile, positive, and enthusiastic manner and I am the same with people, proof of which lie in my track record as a chef for numerous high-end dining spaces.
I enjoy speaking with our residents and discovering their likes and dislikes, so I can cater to their individual preferences.
